# Kraków visitor FAQ

## Are Kraków KRK and Katowice KTW the same airport?

No. Check the airport code on every flight and transfer booking. Kraków Airport is KRK; Katowice Airport is KTW and needs a different onward journey. Compare the complete flight-plus-transfer cost and arrival time, not only the airfare. For KTW, use the airport’s current bus or other transport information and verify your actual Kraków drop-off. The Kraków Airport SKA1 instructions do not apply to KTW. Leave a buffer for baggage, traffic and the final journey to your accommodation.
