26. What should I do if I disagree with a ticket inspection charge?

Ask to see the inspector’s identification and request the reason and written payment notice or receipt. Retain the ticket, app history, vehicle number and time. Use ZTP’s current complaint procedure and observe the deadlines on the notice. A complaint does not automatically pause payment or debt-collection deadlines. Never assume buying a ticket after the inspection fixes the original issue; submit the evidence of what was valid at the time.
